EF Academy Pasadena (9–12)
EF Academy Pasadena is a private boarding and day high school for students in grades 9 through 12, aged 13 to 19, on a 16-acre campus at 1505 East Howard Street in Pasadena. Families can choose day school, five-day boarding or seven-day boarding, and students come from more than 30 nationalities. Academics include a traditional U.S. high school diploma, Advanced Placement courses and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, with a personalized learning approach the school calls the Efekta System and a focus on life skills. The campus has technology-enabled classrooms, specialized labs, creative studios, a black box theater, a swimming pool, sports courts and a dining hall. Activities include varsity sports, clubs such as robotics and Model United Nations, outdoor adventure and weekend excursions.
