Pediatric dentistry and sedation dentistry

First visits include a talk about habits such as thumb-sucking, a full exam of teeth and soft tissues, digital x-rays as needed, cleaning, polish and fluoride when appropriate. The office also does restorative and surgical work, and offers procedural sedation so a child's dental work can often be finished in a single visit; the office is closed to other patients during a sedation case and vitals are monitored throughout. It welcomes children with special healthcare needs, including autism. Delta Dental PPO and Premier plans are accepted. Open Monday to Thursday, with Friday by appointment.

Capital Pediatric Dentistry is a pediatric dental practice in Sacramento led by Dr. David Crippen, who completed a pediatric dental residency at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
