Speech therapy and myofunctional therapy
A whole-body approach to speech therapy that combines traditional therapy with lifestyle education, emotional support and customized home programs, with close partnership with families. Specialties listed are speech sound disorders, language, stuttering, social communication and myofunctional therapy, including work with tongue ties, feeding and swallowing, and sleep-disordered breathing. Clinicians describe training in PROMPT, Gestalt Language Processing, and low- and high-tech AAC for non-speaking and autistic children, with play-based, child-led, sensory-friendly sessions. Services are in-home, virtual, on-site and group (discounted group rates), for all ages from babies to adults. Parent coaching is a 30-minute call to build a home program. A bilingual English/Spanish SLP is on the team. The practice contracts with school districts for IEP evaluations and treatment from preschool to high school. A free screening is offered and the practice is accepting clients in Los Angeles.
