Bilingual speech-language therapy through school districts

Ages 3+

Bilingual speech-language pathologists and assistants provide speech and language therapy and bilingual evaluations to students through their school districts. The company is a California Department of Education certified nonpublic agency, so services are paid by the district under a student's IEP. Therapists work in the child's native language, mostly Spanish, including running IEP meetings in Spanish and communicating with parents in Spanish. The therapists also educate parents and school staff about how bilingual children learn language, to avoid over- or under-identifying bilingual students. The CDE list covers ages 3 to 21, pre-K through grade 12, in language, speech and hearing development and remediation. Families reach the company through their school district rather than directly.
