ABA therapy
One-on-one applied behavior analysis for children with autism and other developmental delays. A Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) designs each child's plan and supervises behavior interventionists who work directly with the child and coach parents and caregivers. Common goals are communication with words, pictures or gestures, following directions, taking turns and making friends, emotional regulation, tolerating transitions, play, school readiness, and reducing unsafe behaviors such as hitting or running away. Sessions take place in the home, at a center, out in the community (parks, libraries, grocery stores), at school, or by telehealth, and center-based 1:1 sessions with a drop-off option are available at select locations. Group social skills training is offered for some clients. Paid through regional centers (Eastern LA, Lanterman, North LA County), school districts, and insurance.

Early Learner Program (ELP)
A play-based early intervention program that uses applied behavior analysis to teach communication, play, social, emotional and school-readiness skills through play and everyday routines. The website describes it for children ages 2 to 6 on its home and services pages and for children under 7 on the program page. It begins with a detailed evaluation, after which a BCBA designs an individualized program and one-on-one sessions begin, with goals and progress tracked and caregivers coached throughout. Care happens in the child's home, at one of its centers, or a mix, and staff can sometimes attend a preschool or day care with the child. Children over 7 are directed to the general ABA program. It accepts many types of insurance and is also funded through regional centers.
