Bilingual speech-language therapy

Up to age 18

Play-based pediatric speech-language therapy for children from birth to 18, built around each child's interests and paired with parent coaching. Areas include speech sound disorders and childhood apraxia of speech (using PROMPT and Sounds in Motion), language delay, school-aged language, augmentative and alternative communication, autism, Down syndrome and early intervention. Evaluations and sessions happen in the family's home, at a child's school or daycare, at the clinic at 2233 Honolulu Ave., Ste. 202 in Montrose, or by teletherapy. Therapists speak English plus Spanish, Persian, Armenian, Korean, Russian, French, Mandarin and Vietnamese. Sessions run 45 minutes to an hour, from once a month to twice a week. The practice contracts with Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center and also sees private clients; it is out-of-network and provides documentation for reimbursement.
