ABA therapy at home, school and in the community
Applied behavior analysis for children with autism, delivered at home, at school and in community settings rather than in a clinic. Maxim uses a flexible, empathy-based approach built on positive reinforcement. It targets communication, play and social skills, dressing and toilet training, and independence. School support can place a behavior technician in a school or pair one with a child across home and school, from preschool through high school in public, private and charter settings. Families start with a call, a BCBA conversation and an in-home assessment, then get a tailored program and parent involvement. Payment is by Medicaid, private insurance, the California regional centers payor network or personal funds. Maxim is on the California Department of Education certified nonpublic agency list for 2026-27 (behavior intervention design and implementation, and health and nursing services), so school districts can contract for services. Bilingual services are available.

Behavior technicians complete ABA training that meets the requirements to become Registered Behavior Technicians, and care is overseen by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
