Learning Disability & Dyslexia Testing
Comprehensive evaluation of how a child or teen reads, writes and does math, covering dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia. The battery uses the WJ-IV cognitive and achievement tests, WIAT-4, CTOPP-2 and, when handwriting is a concern, the Beery VMI-6, plus a clinical interview and educational history. The report gives a DSM-5 diagnosis, an explanation of the cognitive profile, IEP and Section 504 recommendations, intervention suggestions, home strategies and a summary letter for teachers. A feedback session is included. The full evaluation starts at $2,850, and a comprehensive psychoeducational evaluation starts at $3,900. Testing is in person in Hermosa Beach, virtual, or in-home for South Bay families. The practice is out of network and provides superbills. A free 15-minute consultation comes first.
