Speech therapy and early intervention

Up to age 21

Speech-language therapy for young children, with a specialty in early intervention and strong family involvement through parent education and coaching. Services include speech evaluations, AAC therapy, speech and language disorders, fluency disorders (stuttering), pragmatic language and social skills, and support for children with autism spectrum disorder. Approaches named are play-based and child-led (DIR/Floortime), responsive interaction strategies, structured language approaches and routines-based intervention. Sessions are offered in the family's home in the Granada Hills area and by teletherapy. The practice is a vendor of the North Los Angeles County Regional Center, and also provides a Superbill for families seeking insurance reimbursement. Led by Sierra K. Rojas, M.S., CCC-SLP. Children who use gestures, hand signs, AAC or words are all supported.
