Verdugo Academy (K–12)
Verdugo Academy is a public alternative school of choice in the Glendale Unified School District, at 1700 East Mountain Street in Glendale. It serves kindergarten through twelfth grade, so one school covers elementary, middle and high school. Tuition is free, and the school is funded by the state like other district schools. The state school directory lists its educational option as an alternative school of choice, which means families select it rather than being assigned by home address. The school shares its campus with College View, the district's special education school at the same address. Students range from about five to eighteen years old.
