ABA therapy
Applied Behavior Analysis for individuals aged 1 to 21 with autism and developmental disabilities. Home-based direct intervention is intensive one-on-one therapy aimed at language, communication, social and play skills, motor skills, self-help and independence, and at behavior problems, so that skills carry into everyday life. Also offered: program supervision and parent support, parent training, social skills training, and in-school behavior support with adaptive skills training. Families start by filling in an interest form, then schedule a functional behavior assessment (FBA), complete an admin intake, and obtain a direct service authorization. Staff are then assigned and services begin. The agency serves Los Angeles County; its office is in Glendale.
