Speech therapy
Individual speech and language therapy for children (and adults) with speech, language, fluency and social-communication challenges. Clients start with a formal and/or informal assessment, and an initial consultation is usually recommended to decide whether services are needed. Goals are set from the parent interview and assessment results, and family members are encouraged to take part. Sessions are available in the clinic in Glendale, by telepractice, or in the family's home, depending on the person and where they live. Echo also provides in-person and telepractice services to clients of Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center, including Early Start, and the site says it helps families work through funding options such as health insurance. Group sessions for social connection, speech production (such as R sounds) and stuttering are being introduced, along with pre-literacy, reading and writing help.
