ABA therapy (Parent-Led and Direct 1:1)
Individualized, naturalistic ABA for children with autism and special needs, delivered entirely by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. In Parent-Led ABA the BCBA assesses the child, designs behavior and skill programs, and coaches parents to carry them out at home and in the community. In Direct 1:1 treatment the BCBA works hands-on with the child on communication, behavior reduction, self-regulation and daily living skills, with parent training alongside. Goals include language, social and play skills, flexibility with new routines, fewer tantrums and meltdowns, and school readiness. Families pick the time and location. Services are available privately; Alta Regional Center vendorization and Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield and Cigna credentialing are in process.

Ahana ABA is an ABA therapy practice founded and run by Ryan Smith, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. It serves children on the autism spectrum, and adults, in person across the greater Sacramento area (Sacramento, El Dorado and Placer Counties) and by telehealth consultation elsewhere. All services are delivered by a BCBA, either directly with the child or as coaching for parents. Families can start with a free 15-minute consultation.
