Social Skills Groups
Ages 6+
In-person group social skills treatment in Encino for students and young adults ages 6 to 26, running October through May during the school year. Groups are organized by level: elementary school (grades 1–5) meets weekly, while middle school, high school and an adult group (ages 18–26) each meet twice monthly. Every group has monthly community outings, so skills are practiced in structured and naturalistic settings. The approach is described as a Social Cognitive model. Families start with a referral, and the office takes questions by phone or form. Payment is by regional center funding, private pay or school district contracts; rates are given on request.
