Pediatric speech and language therapy

Ages 3–12

Families start with a free 15-minute phone consultation, then a speech and language evaluation that includes formal and informal assessments, observation, and language sampling, followed by a written report with recommendations. Therapy is one-on-one, typically 30 minutes, once or twice a week, and can happen at the Elk Grove office or at the child's daycare, preschool or private school to limit missed class time. A mileage fee may apply for distant locations. Areas of focus include speech sound disorders, late talkers, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and receptive and expressive language delays. The practice is out-of-network and private pay, with payment due at the time of service.
