British Swim School

Swim lessons

Up to age 21

Swim lessons at City Sports Club in Elk Grove, for ages 3 months through adult. Levels run from water acclimation (Tadpole, Starfish) through water survival skills such as floating, rolling over and breathing (Swimboree, Seahorse, Minnow, Turtle 1) to stroke development (Turtle 2, Shark 1, and Shark 2 for pre-team swimmers). Under-3 classes have a parent or guardian taking part. Teen and adult lessons are offered, along with an adaptive aquatics class called Dolphin. Families take an online swim assessment to find the right level, then pick a class day and time and register online. Pricing depends on lessons per week and the number of swimmers. Enrollment runs year-round.
