Individual and family training and support
Individualized instruction and support for people with developmental disabilities, with the goal of helping each person be as independent as possible. The agency was founded in 1979 by special education teachers and is vendored with Harbor Regional Center for individual or family training, so families pay through their regional center. Support covers daily living skills, independent living and parenting instruction, and is delivered face to face in the person's home or out in the community, with remote check-ins by phone or video for those who can be supported that way. Staff are matched to each person's needs and personality and receive initial training and ongoing education. Creative Support also runs social programs for the people it supports. It serves adults as well as children, and the children's range here is shown up to 21.
