ABA therapy
Applied behavior analysis for children and young people ages 1 to 21 with an autism diagnosis from a medical doctor, delivered at the family's home or another location they choose, at times that fit the family's day. Care starts with an assessment by Board Certified Behavior Analysts and Behavior Technicians, who build an individualized treatment plan. Targets include communication, social, emotional, attending, imitation, fine and gross motor, functional play, self-help, toileting and theory of mind skills, plus reducing problem behaviors. Also offered: parent training, parent and sibling support groups, school-based behavior support, adaptive skills and supported employment training. Serves Burbank, Glendale, Los Angeles, Pasadena, Santa Monica, Van Nuys and surrounding areas. Accepts Aetna, Anthem, Blue Shield/Magellan, Cigna/Evernorth and Health Net/MHN; it does not currently accept LA Care or Kaiser. Office hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
