Concierge speech therapy and AAC

Concierge speech-language therapy for children from 12 months to 22 years, with a specialty in early intervention and complex communication needs. Therapist Rebekah Taylor, M.A. CCC-SLP, comes to the family: sessions are in-home, in-school or by telehealth, in Burbank, Glendale, La Cañada and West Pasadena. Work covers late talkers, receptive and expressive language, articulation, childhood apraxia of speech, social/pragmatic skills, gestalt language processing, non-verbal and minimally verbal children, and AAC (eye gaze, iPad apps, switches), including children with autism, Down syndrome and cerebral palsy. Therapy is play-based and child-led, with caregiver training and small caseloads. It starts with a consultation and a dynamic assessment. The practice is a Lanterman Regional Center vendor; it does not bill insurance but provides a superbill.
