Pediatric occupational therapy

Individualized, holistic occupational therapy delivered at home and at school in Studio City, Valley Village, North Hollywood, Toluca Lake, Burbank, Sherman Oaks, Encino and nearby San Fernando Valley areas. Roxanne Benjamin, MA, OTR/L, has worked with children from 4 months to 11 years and has focused on home-based OT since 2013. Her main areas are sensory integration, Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT), fine and gross motor development, feeding and handwriting. She has experience with autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, other genetic and neurological conditions, developmental delay, sensory processing disorder and muscular disorders. Therapy helps with attention, coordination, play and social skills, and self-regulation. The practice is vendored with Lanterman Regional Center, and assessments and screenings are offered.

Pediatric speech therapy

Ages 1+

Individualized, holistic speech therapy provided in familiar settings such as home and school in Studio City, Valley Village, North Hollywood, Toluca Lake, Burbank, Sherman Oaks, Encino and nearby Valley areas. Rose Benjamin, M.A., CCC-SLP, serves clients from 18 months through 22 years and describes her style as neurodiversity-affirming, with goals fitted to each family's routines, values and culture. Therapy addresses articulation, language delays and late talking, fluency, pragmatic and social language, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and gestalt language processing, with parent education.
