Speech and language therapy
Individualized speech and language evaluation and therapy for children and adolescents in a small, boutique office in Beverly Hills. The practice treats speech delay, apraxia, articulation and phonological disorders, lisps and tongue thrust, stuttering, expressive and receptive language disorders, pragmatic and social language, developmental and cognitive delays, auditory processing, voice disorders, oral motor and myofunctional difficulties, and executive functioning, with a special focus on lisps. Marjan Rafeii, M.S., CCC-SLP, has worked with children with Down syndrome, autism, learning disabilities and hearing loss, and has training in DIR/Floortime. Parents are counseled and shown techniques for home use, and progress is monitored at intervals. Teletherapy is available when suitable. The practice is a Lanterman Regional Center vendor.
