Therapy and school-based related services

A certified nonpublic agency that provides related services for students with disabilities, working through the IEP team. Services include behavior intervention based on ABA, overseen by Board Certified Behavior Analysts with Master's-level case supervisors and one-to-one behavior specialists. It also provides speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, adapted physical education, counseling and psychological services, school health and nursing, assistive technology, parent counseling and training, supplemental academic support and transition and vocational services. Care can happen at school, at home, in the community, at a TES clinic or online. The state list shows ages 3 to 22 (pre-K through grade 12), and TES also serves adults. Services for school-age students are paid for by school districts through the IEP. The Alhambra site is listed with a capacity of 76.

Occupational therapy from a multidisciplinary therapy organization that serves children and adults of all abilities. TES says its therapists and educators are licensed and credentialed, and some hold added certifications such as assistive technology and feeding and swallowing. Sessions can happen in the family's home, at school, in the community, at a TES clinic or virtually. The Alhambra office lists registered occupational therapist Kira Bender, OTR/L. OT works alongside TES's physical therapy, speech and language therapy and ABA teams, which TES describes as a collaborative approach.
