## Creative Children (2-year-olds through kindergarten)

Ages 2–6

Creative Children Preschool, Kindergarten & Summer Camp is a small private nonsectarian school at 5650 Shoup Avenue in Woodland Hills. Its programs run from a 2-year-old class and a 3-year-old class through a junior kindergarten (pre-K) and a kindergarten, so children are about ages 2 to 6, and two- and three-year-olds may attend half days or full days. Its approach is developmentally appropriate, thematic activities in a fun, flexible setting. The daily program includes reading, phonics, math, computers, gymnastics, music, dance and art, with soccer also offered, and the grounds include a large, safe playground. The federal private school survey for 2023–24 counted 4 students and 3.9 full-time-equivalent teachers, about one teacher for each student. It suits a family wanting a very small, nonreligious program for the years before first grade.
