## Recreational Soccer

Ages 3–15

Every registered player in U5 to U14 gets a team, provided enough volunteer coaches sign up. 5U and 6U practice once a week for an hour; 8U and up practice twice a week on Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday, with start times between 5:30 and 7:15 pm. U5 to U10 play on Saturdays; U12 and up may play Friday, Saturday or Sunday. The fall season starts the first Saturday after Labor Day; spring registration opens in November. Fees cover insurance, uniform, pictures, trophies and referees, and a Financial Assistance Form is available. Key pages are also in Spanish.

## About Whittier Area Youth Soccer

A volunteer-run youth soccer league in Whittier whose recreational program, the largest in town, gives every registered player a team with no tryouts. Older teams play in the CalSouth Inter-City League.
