## Early intervention occupational, speech and physical therapy

Up to age 21

Early intervention practice offering pediatric occupational therapy, speech and language therapy and physical therapy, plus lactation support and parent-child groups. OT evaluations look at sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, self-care (dressing, feeding, brushing teeth) and play skills, and lead to an individualized treatment plan delivered through play. OT addresses feeding challenges such as picky eating and the move to solids. Speech therapy covers late talking, articulation, and difficulty with imitation or being understood. The practice emphasizes social-emotional development, strengthening parent-child bonds and supporting parents' mental health. Sites are in Whittier, Lancaster and Huntington Park, serving Los Angeles County. It is vendored with Eastern LA and South Central LA regional centers, accepts Medi-Cal and insurance (families can submit insurance details for verification), and takes cash, check and credit cards.

Nurture Collective is a BIPOC-owned, female-led early intervention practice founded by two occupational therapists, Apple Sepulveda (also an IBCLC lactation consultant) and Endenné DuPree. It combines pediatric therapy with support for maternal and parent-infant mental health, and treats social-emotional development as the base for growth. It serves Los Angeles County from three sites: Whittier (7313 Whittier Avenue), Lancaster (1034 W Avenue L-12) and Huntington Park (2677 Zoe Avenue, Suite 206). Its team includes occupational therapists and assistants, speech therapists, physical therapists, child development specialists and a maternal-infant mental health consultant.
