## Youth adaptive sports and Youth Weekend

Up to age 18 · Free

Angel City Sports offers free adaptive sports opportunities all year for kids with physical disabilities or visual impairments, including clinics, sport sessions, coaching and competitive opportunities. Youth Weekend, held each March (March 21-22 on the current calendar), is the signature event for athletes 18 and under. A free equipment loaner program is available. The Junior Adaptive Sports Camp is a separate week-long camp in San Diego (July 20-24, 2026) for ages 4-18 with physical impairments such as spina bifida, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy and spinal cord injuries, or who are blind or visually impaired. Campers rotate through about 15 sports over five days, grouped by age and ability, with volunteers and counselors who share a passion for adaptive sports. Every Angel City Sports program is free of charge, and the Angel City Games in June welcome all ages and abilities.

## About Angel City Sports

Angel City Sports (legally Angel City Alliance) is a Los Angeles nonprofit that began in June 2013, when Clayton and Ezra Frech asked why Southern California had so few adaptive sports programs. It offers free year-round adaptive sports for youth, adults and veterans with physical disabilities or visual impairments. Its four signature events are the Angel City Games, Youth Weekend, the Junior Adaptive Sports Camp in San Diego, and Courage Weekend for veterans. It also runs a free equipment loaner program and competitive teams. Its office is at 6060 Center Drive, 10th Floor, #17, Los Angeles.
