## Psychoeducational and ADHD testing

Up to age 21

Psychological testing for learning and attention concerns in children and adults. Neuropsychological and psychoeducational assessment covers IQ, academic achievement, memory, reasoning, attention, executive functioning, and motor and perceptual skills, and can diagnose dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, visual-motor integration disorder, auditory processing disorder and ADHD. For a child, the work may include a review of school and medical records and interviews with teachers, counselors and the pediatrician. The tests chosen depend on the referral question. Dr. Tansman then writes a report and reviews it with parents; the report can support eligibility for an IEP or 504 Plan, an Independent Educational Evaluation, private school admission, and accommodations on tests such as the ISEE, SAT and ACT. Mental health (psychodiagnostic) assessments are also offered. Adults are seen too. Offices in West LA, Pasadena, Calabasas and Rolling Hills; open Monday to Friday, and Saturday at the West LA office.
