## ABA therapy

Up to age 21

Applied Behavior Analysis built on positive reinforcement and individualized treatment plans, for children with autism or developmental disorders. It begins with a behavior assessment of the child's strengths and challenges. Services include parent training, communication, social and self-care skill building, reduction of challenging behaviors such as aggression, self-injury or tantrums, school readiness, social skills training, and community-based support in parks, stores and schools. Staff collaborate with teachers and other therapists, and the agency also provides IEE functional behavior assessments independent of the school district. Services are paid for through regional center vendorization (South Central Los Angeles Regional Center) and through school districts as a California-certified nonpublic agency. Supervision comes from a BCBA and clinical supervisors, and the website is bilingual in English and Spanish.

## Early intervention (birth to 3)

Up to age 3

Early intervention for infants and toddlers from birth to 3 years old, tailored to each child and supporting families through the earliest developmental years. Staff include early intervention specialists and clinical supervisors who work on milestones such as first words and first steps and on foundational skills. The agency is listed as an infant development vendor with Westside Regional Center and as a vendor of South Central Los Angeles Regional Center, so services are regional center funded. The contact page also addresses questions on how to obtain services, activities families can do at home, and what comes next when a child turns 3.
