## In-home speech and language therapy

Up to age 21

A pediatric private practice offering individual speech and language therapy in the child's home, preschool, daycare or private school, for children of all ages. Care starts with a free phone consultation to decide whether a full evaluation is needed; the evaluation sets the need, benefit and frequency of therapy, and treatment goals are built from the assessment, developmental norms, the child's readiness and the family's goals. Areas include articulation and phonological disorders, early intervention, childhood apraxia of speech, pragmatic and social language, expressive and receptive language delay, stuttering, auditory processing and autism spectrum disorders. The therapist holds Hanen It Takes Two to Talk and More than Words certifications and is PROMPT trained. At the end of each session parents get a summary and home practice recommendations, and family members are welcome to join. The practice is a Westside Regional Center vendor, and also offers low-cost speech and language screenings to local preschools.
