## Social Skills Groups for Kids

Ages 3+

Small weekly social skills groups for children and teens who have trouble making friends, taking turns, reading body language or tone, or handling conflict. Groups focus on pragmatic language and social cognition, are led by a licensed therapist, and are formed by age and developmental level. Each group is one hour and meets weekly. They are held at the Torrance clinic, which offers speech therapy and social skills groups, and at the Newport Beach clinic. The practice's team includes clinicians certified in PEERS. Families call to enroll. Office hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
