## K-12 school for autistic students

Ages 5+

A private K-12 school in Torrance for autistic and neurodiverse students, opened in September 2023. It grew out of an educational therapy practice started in 2016, and that background shapes the program: reading, math and writing instruction is built into the school day rather than added on afterward. The school serves students from kindergarten through twelfth grade, so a family can stay with one school as a child moves from the early grades into high school. It is a school only for neurodiverse learners, not a mainstream campus with a support program.
