## In-home early intervention

In-home early intervention for infants, toddlers and young children with developmental delays, delivered in the family's natural environment and built around daily routines such as meals, grooming, diaper changing and sleep. Care follows an individualized plan and an IFSP. The team includes child development specialists, DIR/Floor-Time specialists, parent educators, speech, occupational and physical therapists, marriage and family therapists, and certified infant massage instructors. Occupational therapists use a sensory integration approach, and some specialize in feeding and swallowing. Parents are coached to read their child's cues and to support play and caregiving at home. Working with premature babies is a stated specialty. Nurturing Tots is vendored with Lanterman and North Los Angeles County regional centers and serves the San Fernando Valley.
