## Psychoeducational and psychodiagnostic evaluations

Up to age 21

Comprehensive psychodiagnostic and psychoeducational testing for children, adolescents and adults. Assessments cover ADHD/ADD, learning disabilities in reading (dyslexia), math, writing, processing speed and fine-motor coordination, intellectual giftedness and twice-exceptional (2E) learners, social (pragmatic) communication disorder, autism spectrum disorders including Asperger's and high-functioning autism, and emotional concerns such as anxiety, depression, OCD and bipolar disorder. The practice says its assessments meet or exceed criteria of testing boards such as the College Board, SAT and ACT. Staff consult with physicians, speech, occupational and educational therapists and school districts, and are available to attend 504 and IEP meetings and to complete Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs). ## Counseling and executive functioning therapy

Up to age 21

Individual, family and group psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults, guided by the practice's published research on 'Success Attributes.' Services include individual counseling, family counseling, a parent education program called the 'Parent Challenge,' and counseling for ASD and social (pragmatic) communication disorder. Executive functioning counseling for ADHD, ADD or autism works on organization, time management, self-discipline, affect regulation, social skills, independent living skills and self-monitoring. The team works with psychiatrists, physicians and other professionals when appropriate and invites parents and others into the process. Offices are in South Pasadena and Valencia; telehealth was offered during COVID-19. Adults are seen too.
