## ABA and behavioral services for autism

Up to age 18

Individualized in-home and school-based applied behavior analysis for children with autism and other pervasive developmental disorders. Services start with a functional behavior assessment, and programming changes with age: an infant development program for children under 3 with child development specialists, occupational and speech therapists; an Early Start ABA program for preschoolers that uses play and discrete trial training as needed; school-age programming that focuses on generalizing skills across settings and building adaptive skills; and an Adolescent Unit for ages 12 to 17. Other services include behavior intervention, shadowing, supervision, IEP services, autism testing, community integration, parent education (group classes and in-home 1:1 training), sibling support groups and specialized respite. Paid through regional centers (Lanterman, North LA County) and school districts as a certified nonpublic agency.
