## Speech and language therapy

Up to age 21

Play-based, evidence-based speech and language therapy for speech sound disorders and apraxia, language delays and late talkers, social communication, fluency (stuttering) and AAC, with bilingual English and Spanish support. A child development and early intervention track for infants and toddlers offers developmental assessments and sensory-rich, play-based intervention. Parent coaching covers home programs, coaching during routines, goal setting and school transition planning. Orofacial myofunctional therapy is also offered, with assessment of oral functions and tongue and lip exercises. Sessions are in the Sherman Oaks or Valencia offices, in the home for eligible services, or by teletherapy. As an NLACRC vendor it provides Early Start (Part C) services for children under three and works alongside OT, PT and ABA teams. Smaller caseloads allow personalized plans. A free phone consultation is offered.
