## Speech language therapy

Speech-language therapy at a San Dimas clinic staffed by speech-language pathologists and speech-language pathology assistants. Work covers articulation, fluency and voice volume, understanding and expressing language (spoken, written, pictorial, sign, and alternative communication such as iPads), pragmatic social language, and treatment of swallowing and feeding disorders. The practice serves children with a range of special needs, including autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, intellectual and learning disabilities, sensory processing disorders, ADHD and hearing impairment. Its parent-clinician approach teaches parents strategies and tools to carry progress into home and everyday settings.
