## Pediatric occupational and physical therapy

Up to age 21

Licensed pediatric occupational and physical therapists provide individual and group therapy, including comprehensive evaluations, consultations and treatment, using evidence-based activities set in play. The clinic's model combines sensory integration with rehabilitative, cognitive-behavioral and client-centered approaches, and it works with sensory processing differences and related learning and behavior disorders, including autism spectrum disorders. Small group classes focus on movement, strengthening, motor planning, fine motor skills and handwriting, adding peer modeling and social interaction. Therapists include OTRs, COTAs, a DPT physical therapy supervisor, a PT and PTAs, and family education is part of the mission. It accepts most insurance plans and private pay, and is a certified nonpublic agency paid by school districts. The San Dimas office serves East LA County and the San Gabriel Valley foothills; a second office is in Riverside.
