## ABA Therapy for Children with Autism

Up to age 17

Contemporary applied behavior analysis for children and young adults with autism in greater Sacramento and Sacramento County communities including Folsom, Elk Grove, Citrus Heights and Rancho Cordova. Therapy is tailored to each child and treats parents as the child's first teacher. It targets language and communication, social and play skills, flexibility with new routines, reducing behaviors that interfere with learning, and preparing for school. Sessions can happen in the family's home or community, in a child's school or preschool, through telehealth (TeleABA), or at a Learning Center, described as a play-based setting. The provider also assesses and diagnoses autism and refers to occupational therapy, speech and mental health services. A new Sacramento Learning Center is listed as coming soon.
