## Social skills groups and adaptive gymnastics

Therapeutic recreation programs that use play and movement to build motivation, life skills, self-esteem and social interaction for people with diverse abilities. Offerings include social skills group sessions and adaptive gymnastics and sports, and the organization also runs swimming and camp programs and community outings for families affected by autism and other disabilities. Every participant has an individualized program with goals addressing coordination, body awareness, strength, endurance and focus, blending sensory movement, exercise and athletics. Programs run six days a week, with the organization open Monday to Friday 8:00am to 6:30pm and Saturdays 9:00am to 4:00pm. Some staff speak American Sign Language, Spanish and French.

## Behavior therapy (ABA)

ABA therapy · Ages 1+

Behavior analysis services for toddlers, children, teens and adults, with staff who specialize in autism spectrum disorder and also serve people with developmental, cognitive and physical disabilities. Services include behavior assessments and one-on-one intensive sessions, and the site announces a new School Readiness Intensive ABA Program that is now enrolling. The aim is to teach adaptive skills and age-appropriate behaviors, with an emphasis on early intervention. Children are encouraged to combine therapy with the organization's adaptive sports, social skills groups, camps and family outings for a fuller treatment plan. Run under Dr. Kristen Cummings-Prater, PsyD, BCBA. Open Monday to Friday 8:00am to 6:30pm and Saturday 9:00am to 4:00pm.
