## UCLA PEERS social skills groups

Ages 4+ · $225/week

Small, age-matched UCLA PEERS social skills groups for making and keeping friends, led by occupational therapists certified through the UCLA PEERS Clinic. Groups run 14-16 weeks in clinic: Kinder (ages 4-6), Juniors (ages 7-13) and Teens (ages 14-18). Kids and teens practice real social skills while parents meet in their own group so the skills carry into daily life. The cost is $225 per week. The practice is out-of-network for insurance and provides a monthly superbill for PPO reimbursement, and it accepts Self-Determination Funding for social skills groups. The clinic is at 2810 E Del Mar Blvd, Suite 2, Pasadena, open Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, by appointment. The same practice also offers one-on-one sensory integration OT, and CBIT for tics.

The Sensory Brain is a Pasadena occupational therapy practice founded by Justine David, M.A., OTR/L, serving California since 2021. Six licensed OTR/Ls work with kids, teens and adults on sensory processing differences, tics and social-emotional challenges. Besides the Del Mar Blvd clinic, a second clinic is at 181 N Oak Knoll Ave, Suite 1, Pasadena. Both are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, by appointment.
