## Child and teen therapy

Up to age 21

Individual therapy for children and teens with a licensed psychologist who has over 20 years of experience, with younger children supported through play-based therapy to express feelings and learn coping skills. The practice's child and teen pages cover anxiety, ADHD, depression, autism (behavior-focused support) and executive functioning, along with anger, family changes, family communication and attachment challenges. Parents are often included, especially with younger clients, and receive tools to use at home. Family therapy and parenting support are also offered, and the care is described as trauma-informed and LGBTQ+ affirming. Most sessions are in person at the Pasadena office, with virtual sessions available on request. A therapy dog can join a session or stay out of it. Adults are seen too.
