## Pediatric speech and language therapy

Up to age 21

Pediatric speech-language therapy that begins with a one-hour evaluation covering developmental history, observation and testing, followed by an individual treatment plan. Treatment is 50-minute one-on-one sessions, one to three times a week, and families get a summary and home practice materials after each session. Areas include articulation and phonology, receptive and expressive language, apraxia (DTTC-trained clinicians), stuttering and fluency, autism (neurodiversity-affirming), auditory processing, cleft palate and craniofacial differences, hearing loss, early intervention, pragmatic and social language, and AAC. The clinicians are Hanen certified (It Takes Two To Talk), and Cayla is PROMPT trained. Offered in person on Motor Ave and by teletherapy. Contracted with UCLA Medical Group HMO (with authorization); accepts Anthem, HealthNet, Blue Shield of CA and Cigna HMO; out-of-network for PPO with reimbursement paperwork. A free 15-minute phone consultation is offered. One clinician speaks Farsi.
