## Speech and language therapy

Up to age 18

Speech and language assessment and therapy for infants, toddlers, school-aged children and adolescents, with parent education built into sessions. Assessments combine parent interviews, play-based informal assessment and, when needed, standardized tests, covering articulation and phonology, language, fluency, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) for non-verbal or minimally verbal children. Therapy addresses apraxia, articulation, AAC, autism, cleft palate, developmental delay, dysarthria, expressive and receptive language, stuttering, lisps, orofacial myofunctional disorders and pragmatic (social) language. The clinician's trainings include PROMPT, PECS, Hanen It Takes Two to Talk, DTTC for apraxia, and K-SLP. Sessions take place in the North Hollywood office or in homes around greater Los Angeles; teletherapy is offered on request. Office hours are Monday to Thursday, 9am to 6pm. Begins with a phone consultation.
