## Pediatric physical therapy

Pediatric physical therapy for infants and children built on the idea that children learn best through play, so each session is meant to be fun and to layer several treatment approaches. Therapists treat torticollis and plagiocephaly, neurological and genetic disorders, gross motor delays, sensory dysfunction, congenital orthopedic impairments, delays due to prematurity, movement disorders, and problems with motor planning and balance. Care happens at the clinic on Wilshire Boulevard in the Miracle Mile area, and school and home-based therapy are also offered. The goal is to empower caregivers to help their child reach developmental potential, and a first consultation is a collaborative gross motor assessment with the child. The practice is vendored with Lanterman Regional Center for early intervention services and is otherwise an out-of-network provider; rates are given on contact.
