## ABA therapy

Ages 1+

Individualized one-on-one ABA therapy for children aged 1 to 18 with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD or other developmental delays. Every child starts with a Functional Behavioral Assessment by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, who writes the plan; trained behavior technicians then deliver sessions and track progress with data at each session. Therapy takes place in the child's home, at school alongside teachers (with Positive Behavior Intervention Plans), in community settings such as libraries and parks, or at the facility. Sessions run on weekdays and/or weekends, from daily to 2-3 times a week depending on the assessment. Weekly parent and caregiver training is offered, and parents are encouraged to observe sessions. The site says Medi-Cal and most insurance plans cover ABA, and the administrative staff helps with authorization; services generally begin within several weeks of applying, and children are reassessed every six months.
