## Birthday Parties

Private parties use both the Play Museum and the Maker's Lab, with a party host. Basic Bash is $295 for 2.5 hours and up to 8 kids, and families bring their own food and cake. Deluxe Celebration is $395 for 2.5 hours and up to 10 kids, with a custom cake, one themed activity and themed decor. Ultimate Makers Party is $495 for 3 hours and up to 10 kids, with two themed activities, a 3D printing demo and custom goody bags. Each additional child is $25. Add-ons include extra play time, a cotton candy station, custom cakes and party favors. Themed activities include LEGO Engineers, Drone Flight School, Laser cutting, 3D Printing, Karaoke Stage and Musical Instruments.

## Play Museum open play and Kids Night

Indoor play · Up to age 17 · $55/visit

An indoor play space with a creative play area of Montessori/Waldorf style toys, building sets, board games and chess, plus an interactive musical instrument exhibit, a Hallway of Curiosity with illusions and science gadgets, an art table, Lego and wooden blocks, a Brio train set, a three-story dollhouse and a quiet tent. Mixed reality headsets are available. DIY Play is booked by the hour for one child. Kids Night is a drop-off evening from 5:30 to 9:30 for $55, with dinner included. The Maker's Lab runs workshops for all ages, from graphic design to electronics and soldering.

## About The Play Museum & Maker's Lab

The Play Museum & Maker's Lab in Sacramento grew out of the Play/Music piano studio, which Lisa Frimberger opened in 2021. Matt Carlson added the Maker's Lab, a makerspace with 3D printers and laser cutters, in 2025. Together they offer a creative play area, a musical instrument exhibit, the Hallway of Curiosity, maker workshops, kids nights, field trips and birthday parties.
