## Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing Therapy

Up to age 17

Feeding and swallowing therapy delivered by occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists, combining strategies from sensory processing, oral motor coordination and orofacial myofunctional therapy. It addresses picky eating, texture sensitivity, gagging, swallowing incoordination, drooling, difficulty with a cup or straw, prolonged meals, bottle use past 12 months and difficulty latching or moving to solids. Work covers oral motor strength, tolerance of food textures, flavors and smells, environmental adaptations and whole-body endurance. Caregivers are trained in activities and feeding progressions, and the plan is tailored to the family's lifestyle. Families start with a free discovery call, then an in-depth evaluation. Intensive blocks of 1 to 3 hours, 4 to 5 times a week for 4 weeks, are also available.
