## Zoo Camp

Outdoor and nature camp · Ages 4–9 · $450/week · 9am–3pm

Summer 2026 ran weekly from June 15 to July 31 and sold out when registration opened in March. A Zoo Camp Academy for grades 5 to 8 includes an overnight and is not listed here.

## Zoo birthday parties

Party venue · Up to age 12 · $250–$750/party

Birthday parties are held in private spaces around the Los Angeles Zoo, including Cave Corner, Cactus Patio and LAIR Overlook. Daytime rentals run 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and evening rentals run 6 to 10 p.m.; all-day events must end by 4:30 p.m. In-house tables and chairs are provided for up to 300 guests, subject to availability. Every guest needs zoo admission. Groups of 15 or more pay a group rate of $24 for adults and $21 for children ages 2 to 12, and children under 2 are free. Birthday menus come from the zoo's catering team, Taste of the Wild, which has a $1,000 minimum. At Cave Corner, Cactus Patio and LAIR Overlook, hosts may bring their own food, drinks and cake, but alcohol is not allowed. Balloons, bounce houses, streamers, glitter and confetti are not allowed. Book by emailing events@zoo.lacity.org or through the inquiry form; a signed event agreement and a 50% deposit hold the date.
