## Recreational Soccer

Ages 5+ · $150–$185

Recreational league open to anyone through registration, with the emphasis on fun and skill development in a reasonably competitive setting. Divisions run from U6 to U19 by birth date. The season runs from August 1 to mid-November, with games on Saturdays starting the weekend after Labor Day and about 10 league games per team. U6-U8 teams play only other Lincoln teams; U10-U14 play nearby clubs such as Rocklin, Roseville, Loomis and Granite Bay. Practices are set by volunteer coaches at fields around Lincoln, some starting as early as 4:30 p.m. The 2026 registration fee was $150 early bird, $160 regular or $185 late, with a $10 sibling discount; uniforms cost extra. Players need cleats and shin guards.

## About Lincoln Youth Soccer Club

Lincoln Youth Soccer Club (LYSC) was established in 1978 and is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization, not affiliated with the City of Lincoln. It runs the community's recreational soccer league, led by volunteer coaches and team managers. In 2016 its coaches began competing as Lincoln FC, which was accepted into NorCal Premier in 2019. The club also offers a pathway of Kinder Kickers (ages 3-5), Junior Skills Academy (ages 6-7) and a U8 Academy, and recruits referees.
