## Kid's Club boxing

Ages 7–12

The Kid's Club teaches ages 7-12 the basic boxing stance, footwork, punching and kickboxing combinations, and how to use pads and bags, mixing fun with fitness. It runs at the gym on Hawthorne Blvd. in Lawndale on three weekday afternoons at 4 pm. Kids bring workout clothes and sneakers, water and a towel, plus boxing gloves and hand-wraps, which are available for purchase. The gym is led by Olympian and certified USA Boxing coach Moses James and has heavy bags, a sparring ring, a speed bag and a top/bottom ball. EXF is on Westside Regional Center's vendor list, and boxing is offered to ages 6 and up, with ages 3-5 considered by referral. Personal training is also available by appointment for any age.

EXF Boxing and Kickboxing Academy (Eagle Extreme Fitness) in Lawndale was founded by Olympian and world boxing champion Moses "The Eagle" James, a certified USA Boxing coach who has a special interest in training young fighters for the Junior Olympics and beyond.
